Why do I always feel like I am either floundering around aimlessly or a rat in a cage?!

What's wrong with this picture -

- Praying that I get made redundant so I can leave the company ( and collect benefits ) even though it's unlikely to happen

- Having no plan B for if I do get let go

Indisputable fact #1:

Every male looks better in a well-fitted suit.

Even the worst dressed male in the world.

Makes me think twice every time.

Every male can look hot with the right hair cut and a well-fitted suit.

In late July, Lauren, Michael, Luke and Sarah caught a train from London to Manchester to meet me because I was going there to work at a photoshoot.

I met Sarah and Luke on a street in the trendy Northern Quarter area, and Michael and Lauren were shopping in Carhartt, a skatewear shop. I went in to say hi to them while they were paying for their purchases.

Two minutes later, I walked out before Lauren and Michael.

"That has GOT to be a world record purchase, even for you. I left you for like, I don't know... 2 seconds?" Sarah proclaimed as I showed her my purchases.

2 disposable cameras, Carhartt branded, obviously weren't selling well. 3 quid each.

Sarah quickly walked in and bought one for her and Luke.

It's my two year anniversary of living in Amsterdam on Sunday.

You know you live in Europe when...

You know you live in Europe when you have to edit an interview that was originally conducted in french, then translated in english, and then write an article about it in computer software that is entirely in dutch.

Challenging but so worth it!

Now if only, it was full time, and it paid enough to let me be truly free....

Dreams coming true

I am doing my dream job, one day a week, FREELANCE.

I am a freelance writer and editor for an arty transmedia motion graphics channel called The Submarine Channel.

And I published my first article today and I am getting involved in amazing, creative projects where my opinion counts, my colleagues are kind and want to teach me things, and I love it.
